Semnoz Sunset

Just a few kilometres from Annecy, the Semnoz offers one of the most spectacular views in the French Alps — and that’s where we’ll be meeting you for an unforgettable evening.

The trip sets off in the late afternoon from Annecy, heading for the heights of the Semnoz massif. On the way, there’s a stop at a local goat farm — a chance to meet an experienced farmer and discover the secrets of authentic Savoyard goat’s cheese, far from the tourist hustle and bustle of Lake Annecy.

The climb continues to the summit of the Semnoz, at an altitude of over 1,700 metres. With a view of the Alps, between Lake Annecy and Lake Bourget, and, if you’re lucky, as far as Mont Blanc.
We’ll set up the picnic: platters of Savoyard specialities and local drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic), all whilst enjoying the sunset over the French Alps.
