It all began in the Camargue.
I was 15, and that family trip was to change the course of my life. Sitting in the back of a 4×4 as it sped past flamingos and white horses, I watched our guide talk enthusiastically about her local area.
That day, it dawned on me: this job is wonderful – this is what I want to do when I grow up.

Since then, I have never strayed from this path.
I first studied for a Bachelor’s degree in English and Spanish,then went on to do a Master’s in sustainable tourism. After several years working closely with key players in the Annecy tourism sector — every step of the way has reinforced my conviction that:
The most memorable travel experiences are those that forge a genuine connection between people and the local area.

It was this conviction that led me to set up Ava Noutra in June 2026. Far removed from coach tours and standardised itineraries – and because, in my view, a region is defined first and foremost by the people who bring it to life – I wanted to create my own unique experiences by placing encounters at the heart of my itineraries: small-group excursions, set to the rhythm of local producers, landscapes landscapes and detours that will offer a fresh perspective on your journey.
