We set off early from Annecy, heading for the Chamonix valley and its unrivalled alpine scenery.

A full day of unforgettable experiences starting from Annecy, taking in glaciers, mountain peaks and Alpine heritage — for a different way to experience Chamonix.

Optional:
– Ascent to the Aiguille du Midi by cable car, rising to an altitude of 3,842 metres. At the summit, the panoramic view of Mont Blanc and the French Alps is breathtaking — and for the more daring, the Pas dans le Vide offers a dizzying experience high above the abyss.

– Mer de Glace on board the famous Montenvers rack railway — one of the most beautiful rail journeys in the Alps. Once there, you’ll board the cable car that will take you to the Mer de Glace. You’ll then be able to admire France’s largest glacier. You’ll also have access to the on-site attractions: the Ice Cave, the Glaciorium and the Temple of Nature.

WARNING : The ascent to the Aiguille du Midi is not recommended for people who suffer from severe vertigo, or for young children (prohibited for under-3s, not recommended for under-5s). This is because the rapid change in altitude can affect their eardrums.
